Kaplan University Library Resources and Article Summary Discussion

Description

Part 1

Working with Library Resources and Article Summary

For this discussion, post your answers to the following questions for the class at large. Do not post just to the small team your instructor has assigned you to. This will give everyone the opportunity to share articles that might be helpful to others in the class. You will then use the smaller group discussion area for the second unit discussion regarding Theories of Motivation.

  • What was your experience working with library resources to help you find current and useful articles on occupational health and safety as well as team motivation and performance?
  • What did you learn about library searches?
  • Which article was most applicable to the case study and why?

Provide a brief annotated summary of the article that will be most helpful to this case study on occupational health and safety through team motivation.

Part 2

Theories of Motivation – Small Team Discussion

For this discussion, your instructor will assign you to teams. Within your team, respond to the case study assignment in this unit by describing two strategies to enhance occupational health and safety through teamwork. Critique the strategies for their usefulness. Many theories of motivation may relate to your strategies. Discuss one theory of team motivation for greater occupational health and safety. Use at least one scholarly source in your post.
