Identify the three stages of healing that people go through in the aftermath of a shooting according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).  Elaborate on each stage of healing by describing each stage’s characteristics.  Also, describe and elaborate on what psychologists and mental health professionals can do to assist mass shootings’ survivors in each of these stages of healing.  Finally, in your opinion, are the strategies, methodologies, and treatment approaches of psychologists and mental health professionals (based on information in the article) sufficient to address and help heal the trauma of mass shootings’ survivors?  Why or why not?
