please respond to two other students with the following information:

1. You verify that their website exists, it is not a .com or .net website and that their information is correct according to that website. Make a post letting us know that you have done this and you verify that student’s information.

2. Then, you must research a different website with similar information to confirm or deny the first referenced website’s information. If you find contradictory information, please say what that information is. If it confirms the information, make an addition to the original information.

Hello, I would like to talk about “the plasma membrane.”

The membrane consists of a phospholipid bilayer with attached or embedded proteins. Outside of layer is placed by polar (hydrophilic head) molecule of a phospholipid molecule, while inside of layer is place by non-polar (hydrophobic tail) molecule. Furthermore, certain molecules and ions enter and exit freely through the membrane. Large molecules like macromolecules, however, cannot pass through.

According to the fluid mosaic model, the plasma membrane is a mosaic of components—primarily, phospholipids, cholesterol, and proteins—that move freely and fluidly in the plane of the membrane. In other words, a diagram of the membrane (like the one below) is just a snapshot of a dynamic process in which phospholipids and proteins are continually sliding past one another.

HI All, I’d like to talk about “Homeostasis”.

Organisms maintain a state of balance called “Homeostasis”

Homeostasis refers to a person’s physical internal balance where all Organs and body systems are working in harmony. Homeostasis is the maintenance of relatively constant internal conditions. The process of maintaining the overall physiologic stability of the body (homeostasis) is heavily regulated by the endocrine glands and the hormones that they produce. They are essential to maintain homeostasis. In hot weather, we stay in homeostasis by sweating and drinking fluids.
