Final Project: Part 2
Description: Part 2 of the final is where students synthesize and compose a formal argumentative paper on the topic which they began to work on in the midterm. Taking the outline from the midterm, students will be constructing an argument about a certain stance to take on an issue. This is due on Blackboard on Tuesday 5/1.
Directions:
Construct an argumentative paper following the outline used in the midterm, refining or adapting any portions of the midterm as you see fit. The paper should be no less than six paragraphs performing at least the following:
● a clear framing of the issue and thesis statement in an intro ● three supporting reasons which are themselves explained and supported in body
paragraphs ● reconstruction and dismissal of a counter-argument ● concluding summary and remarks
