: Increasingly, different types of dementia are becoming prominent in society as a whole. Discuss the impact this is having on mainstream society.

THE ESSAY QUESTION IS:-
“Increasingly, different types of dementia are becoming prominent in society as a whole. Discuss the impact this is having on mainstream society.”
What I need in my essay as well is current journal articles (peer reviewed). This 1,000 word essay is to be written in Australian English and refer to dementia as a whole (NOT specific types of dementia) and to use APA6 style
Ten references (journals) would be good. No direct quoting please.
I don’t require a cover page and I don’t require content page or subheadings – THESE ARE NOT REQUIRED
If you are able to a graph would be good but not necessary
I need an introduction paragraph, three to four body paragraphs and conclusion. The introduction should not be more than 70 words and each body paragraph around 200-250 words and conclusion around 120 words or so total 1,000 but you can go over by 10 percent
This is to be written from research in AUSTRALIA ONLY
THESE ARE SOME OF MY IDEAS FOR THE ESSAY BUT I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT ONSET DEMENTIA
For impact on mainstream society – how are these diagnoses impacting upon families/communities (how hard is it to access diagnosis/services/assistance etc), economics/employers/business (particularly with younger onset dementia), aged care system (are services able to meet demand).
Talk about the stigma associated with dementia in Australia and how with education and media coverage the stigma of dementia can be somewhat mitigated.

Here are some journals that may be useful for you and I would like to use the Productivity Commissioner’s Reports

Here is a discussion between myself and the tutor as to what is required in the essay. PLEASE ALSO REFER TO THE OTHER ATTACHMENT REQUIREMENTS OF THE ESSAY THE RUBRIC ETC
We are to write a discursive essay i.e. both sides of the argument for and against. (YES)
This is to be backed up with evidence from journals (YES) or articles (peer reviewed YES)
(Your question) If an article is peer reviewed and solid I could perhaps highlight the author at the beginning of my sentence thereby stressing the author(s) authenticity or credence by doing so.
(My answer) The best essays refer to the information, not the author. Credit is given to the author by citing at the end of the sentence. I am not interested in reading their opinion. I want to hear your voice coming through in the essay. The citations are only there to offer support and credibility to your viewpoints and statements. For this reason, I really dislike direct quotations.
(Your question) We are also to provide our own opinions. Is this an opinion that we would form from our readings or just an opinion I may have. I understand this is to be backed up with evidence.
(My answer) The previous answer addresses this but I want to read your informed opinion based upon what you have experience, read and researched. I do not want to read about unsupported ideas and speculation that you may have. Hope this is clear enough.
(Your question) And finally given that the essay is 1,000 words would 2 or 3 points in detail be enough. (My answer) It is not a numbers game. I do not want to give a proscriptive answer here. Remember each paragraph has a topic sentence and each paragraph should cover one topic per paragraph. This may help you decide how many points to cover. Please remember, no new information in the conclusion. With the conclusion just bring all the key points discussed together.
Task description Your essay must have an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion. Information from the readings must be referenced using in-text citations, and a complete reference list needs to be included at the end of your essay.
THE TOPIC
Increasingly, different types of dementia are becoming prominent in society as a whole. Discuss the impact this is having on mainstream society.
Make full use of the recommended readings. You may use additional resources. Include graphs, tables, and/or figures in your essay to support your argument. Use APA referencing style.
Task length 1000 words (does not include words on graphs, tables, figures or reference list)
