Prepare a critical analysis

Prepare a critical analysis of a qualitative study focusing on the problem statement, study purpose, research question, literature review, and theoretical framework. This can be one of the selected articles from your previous literature review or a new peer-reviewed article. The completed analysis should be 1,000-1,250 words and should connect to your identified practice problem of interest. Refer to “Research Critique Part 1.” Questions under each heading should be addressed as a narrative, in the structure of a formal paper. Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required. This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion. Research Critique, Part 1

To write a critical appraisal that demonstrates comprehension of the research study conducted, respond to each of the questions listed under the headings below. Do not answer the questions with a yes or no; rather, provide a rationale or include examples or content from the study to address the questions.

CRITICAL APPRAISAL GUIDELINES: QUALITATIVE STUDY Problem Statement • Identify the clinical problem and research problem that led to the study. What was not known about the clinical problem that, if understood, could be used to improve health care delivery or patient outcomes? This gap in knowledge is the research problem. • How did the author establish the significance of the study? In other words, why should the reader care about this study? Look for statements about human suffering, costs of treatment, or the number of people affected by the clinical problem.

Purpose and Research Questions • Identify the purpose of the study. An author may clearly state the purpose of the study or may describe the purpose as the study goals, objectives, or aims. • List research questions that the study was designed to answer. If the author does not explicitly provide the questions, attempt to infer the questions from the answers. • Were the purpose and research questions related to the problem? • Were qualitative methods appropriate to answer the research questions?

Literature Review • Did the author cite quantitative and qualitative studies relevant to the focus of the study? What other types of literature did the author include? • Are the references current? For qualitative studies, the author may have included studies older than the 5-year limit typically used for quantitative studies. Findings of older qualitative studies may be relevant to a qualitative study. • Did the author evaluate or indicate the weaknesses of the available studies? • Did the literature review include adequate information to build a logical argument?

Conceptual / Theoretical Framework • Did the author identify a specific perspective from which the study was developed? If so, what was it? • When a researcher uses the grounded theory method of qualitative inquiry, the researcher may develop a framework or diagram as part of the findings of the study. Was a framework developed from the study findings?

Psychology for teachers

1. Journal Tasks (flexible word limit) Evaluate and reflect on the set readings for the unit. Responses should show increasing understanding of the concepts of stage/developmental learning theories, behavioural learning theories, models for classroom management, motivation theories and models of intelligence, and their implications and application in the classroom. Some responses will require a Biblical reflection of a learning theory. Discuss the role and reliance of Ultrasound to Aeromedical retrieval medicine in Australia

There are many aspects to consider when selecting medical equipment for Aeromedical retrieval. The use of contemporary clinical monitors and biomedical devices which are small, lightweight and reliable allow critical care interventions prior to and during aerial transport. As medical science progresses there are more products and devices available to assist with diagnosing, monitoring and management of patients in the retrieval situation.Discuss the role and reliance of Ultrasound to Aeromedical retrieval medicine in Australia. Include in your discussion
The technical principles of ultrasound
Use in primary and secondary transfers
Ease of use and handling/transport
Susceptibility to vibration
FAST
The technical principles of foetal Doppler ultrasound
The role of foetal Doppler imaging in the Aeromedical retrieval environment.
Prepare a 2000-2500 word report
Include tables, diagrams and illustrations as appropriate (must be referenced)
Font: Helvetica and Ariel
Size 12 font or larger
APA referencing as per Edith Cowan University Western Australia guidelines
Referencing material must be no older than 7 years
Each new sentence or new idea must be referenced
The information must be relevant to Aeromedical retrieval in Australia and must include the latest equipment available.

Plant Transpiration

If you have not already, you or someone you know will try to grow a variety of plants either inside your house or outside in a garden. What type of soil do you need? How often should you water the plants? Should you plant them in full sun? Why do some plants need less water and some more? These are questions that many people have about plants. In this activity, you will have a chance to manipulate different variables to see how much water some plants use and how much some lose through transpiration.

Objectives

1. Conduct virtual experiments to determine factors that affect transpiration.

2. Compare and contrast sustainable and unsustainable farming practices.

2. Read the PURPOSE and OBJECTIVES.

3. Read and follow the information under PROCEDURES, and complete the lab for all 4 plants and all 3 variables.

4. Reset the lab and complete the lab for the next set of 4 plants and 3 variables.

5. Record your information in the Results Table provided on this sheet.

6. During and after the lab, answer the questions below.

Type all answers directly on the data sheet.
Select Save As, and use your last name and student ID as a file name.
Upload the data sheet as a .doc, .docx, or .rtf file when finished.

Question 11 is a short essay. Your response should be at least 200 words in length. Total: 40 points

11. You want to reduce the amount of money that you are spending at the grocery store. You and your family decide to plant a small garden to provide a variety of foods. Since you completed the activity above, you know that plants require certain nutrients in order to survive.

Read the information in the textbook concerning the future of agriculture (pages 586 – 592). What are some methods that you would implement into your garden? What would you try to avoid? In addition to your textbook, locate at least one article in the CSU Online Library that provides further information on your chosen methods. Make sure you provide a detailed response.

Analysis Music

it is a assignment 3 in C4elink.org. I need to you login and listen to the pieces of music that just is 4:08. The principles of unity & variety apply to all music, regardless of compositional style or historical period.

Now that you are familiar with the concepts in the first section of the course (Basic Musical Concepts), and you have seen how they work on different pieces of music, try your hand, mouse, and ears at how they operate in a music selection that you may not have heard yet.

Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White (4:08)

Your analysis should include:

The number of different musical ideas in the piece (for example, can we say that there are two ideas A and B? Or is there only one?)
The timings (start and stop times) of the different sections of the piece. (Hint: Listen for changes in musical ideas and timbre, for example, points when different instruments come in or give way to others.)
How unity and variety are exemplified in those sections through the use of:

a) Dynamics: Where does the music get louder or softer? Is there any apparent reason for those changes?

b) Timbre: Where do instruments take over the melody or a solo passage?

c) Pitch: What is the general pitch level of the piece? Are there wide variations in pitch level?

Although there are sections that feature one instrument over others, whether you think this is a piece for a solo performer or for an ensemble
A list of the characteristics of the musical style closest to the one this piece exemplifies. (Hint: Look at the last lecture in the first section of the course)
Whether you think this piece serves (or could serve) a specific purpose.
Whether or not it has any specific connotation(s) for you.

after reading the case that i attached in additional materials, please answer the following question:
Refer to Exhibit 8 in the case. Complete the missing assumptions in order to calculate the Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) obtained with corporate branding. A spreadsheet has been set up on additional materials to do the calculations. It automatically calculates the CLV for you – you must input the assumptions based on the facts in the case. Please make sure a summary of the spreadsheet (both before and including corporate branding) is included in your submission.
Then based on the results, discuss in two pages if you feel corporate branding is a good strategy. Consider all factors and not simply the numerical results of the spreadsheet.
