Health Behavior

Throughout the course, you have been completing discussion boards, learning activities, and assignments with the intention of utilizing those tools and knowledge to culminate a Final Project where you propose a health intervention, project, or program for your chosen health issue.

At this point, you have chosen a health theory (Unit 2), conducted a review of the recent literature and created an annotated bibliography (Unit 2), created goals and objectives for your program (Unit 4), and reflected and revised those goals to be culturally sensitive (Unit 6). Now it is time to synthesize that information and create a 5–7-page report (excluding title page, reference pages, and appendices) with your proposed intervention. Although you completed aspects of this project in other units, for this unit, you will imagine that this report is for your supervisor. To this end, your report should be comprehensive and formatted as a professional deliverable. You may borrow content from previous assignments, but attempt to substantively revise and synthesize that information.

You will attach all your previous assignments (2, 4, and 6) as appendices to the end of your paper.

Requirements

Provide proper APA style citation and referencing for all sources used to develop goals and objectives.

Submit your Assignment to the DropBox for grading by the due date.

System thinking is an intellectual discipline that provides a powerful mental frame of reference in understanding problem situations and in guiding day-to-day decision making.

Distinguish between soft systems thinking method and hard systems thinking method.

(10 marks)

Using systems thinking, as a project management consultant, discuss how you would differentiate between “design management” and “management of the design process”.
(15 marks)

c) Discuss the critical success factors for management of the design process.
(10 marks)

(Value for Money in Strategic Construction Procurement)

Question 1

In both the developed and the developing economies, the traditional methods of procurement seem to be losing their prime positions in construction project delivery due to their reliance on direct client funding.

Discuss with examples why you think Private Finance Initiative (PFI) seems to becoming the favoured option of procurement for infrastructure and provision of public sector services.

(25 marks)

Question 2

Procurement is a strategy to satisfy client’s development and/or operational needs with respect to the provision of constructed facilities for a discrete life cycle. Government clients across the world seem to increasingly favour the use of public private partnership (PPP) to procure infrastructure and services.

Discuss the three broad categories of PPP used by the UK Government and explain why this method of procurement is encouraged by governments across the world.

Question 3(Briefing Process)

(10marks)

Discuss the various types of brief that might be produced through the stages of project development and showing their linkages.
(15 marks)

(Project key strategies)

Question 1

Project planning is defined as “the process of analysing, formulating and organising the intended actions for the carrying out of the project”.The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)states that to achieve construction project success, planning must be based upon robust project strategies.

Using examples, discuss what you understand by the term “project strategy”.

Understanding health care information systems planning and implementation is an important skill for health care leaders. Technology is advancing and the adoption of information systems in health care has progressed from being just a cool tool to a must have in terms of quality, access, profitability, and competitiveness. It is inevitable that managers and/or leaders will be faced with technology changes and/or upgrades, making the need to understand the basics of health care information system development and the standards required fundamental. Many organizations are opting out of acquiring a new health information system due to the high cost. Meanwhile, other health care organizations face resistance from their employees and other stakeholders when there is new system implementation.

· Propose a solution that could be used to eliminate or reduce a cultural and/or behavioral resistance to health information system adoption.

My Health Issue Is Prediabetes I Live In The State Of Georgia

Analyzing and interpreting programs is another significant process of program evaluation. Conducting an evaluation means reviewing all sections starting with the introduction and background of the program to cultivate a detailed understanding of the program, then understanding the history and learning how it will affect the target population or community. Analyzing and interpreting the program also leads to developing cohesive goals and objectives, plus deciphering what to measure, and predicting possible barriers that will preclude a successful program. Furthermore, this process affords a better understanding of the design strategy and data collection and analysis.

In this assignment, you will continue working on sections for your final project. You will develop a matrix for this assignment.

Using the readings for the week, the South University Online Library, and the Internet for research, select scholarly references on three public health evaluation programs. You will use these references to support your responses. These references can be similar to the CDC publication, Introduction to Program Evaluation for Public Health Programs: A Self-Study Guide.

Be sure to review public health programs in your state and include at least one program that addresses the health issue or health disease that you selected as your main theme or topic throughout the course. Use the following public health program matrix guide to analyze and interpret the three programs you selected.

Click here to download the Matrix Guide.

You will need to review, analyze, and interpret each program and use the matrix guide to address the following components:

State the title of the public health program evaluation and its author.

List the objectives and goals.

Explain the purpose of the program (summarize).

Describe the method and research data collection process (if applicable).

Explain the framework and why it was selected.

Address funding options.

Summarize the findings of the program and include a brief note providing your evaluation of the program.

Submission Details:

Fill in your information directly in the matrix. Submit one matrix for each public health program. Be sure to include a 100–200-word summary and evaluation of the program.

Submit your matrix in a Microsoft Word document to the Submissions Area by the due date assigned.

The 6-page essay must refer to at least two readings from our textbook and two additional sources that support your argument (e.g., academic articles, monographs, film reviews by established critics, etc.). The point of this exercise is to allow you to conduct an original transnational feminist analysis to some aspect of visual or popular culture of your own choosing. You must make a convincing argument, use your reference materials accurately, and use feminist key terms, concepts and theories properly. You must reread the introduction to “Part III: Representations, Cultures, Media, and Markets,” from the textbook so that you understand the importance of the analysis of visual and popular culture to Women’s Studies. Remember to be as specific as possible about the historical time period, national context and the discipline of the feminist scholars or activists of the readings or case studies you reference. IMPORTANT: Please use a 12 pt. font, double spaced lines, 1-inch margins, and one standard acceptable format for citations for your references and bibliography. Your essay must have a clear thesis statement, logical organization of paragraphs that follow from your thesis statement with clear topic sentences and transition sentences to guide your reader, logical evidence to support your thesis, and an introduction and conclusion that all supports your main argument. You must use proper citations (footnotes and bibliography) in one of the following accepted formats: Turabian, MLA, Chicago or APA. (Sample Chicago Style below). If you do not know how to properly cite a research paper, go to the UH Writing Center for help with this before you turn your paper in. There is a zero tolerance for plagiarism. Papers that include plagiarism will receive 0 points and will be reported in accordance with the University’s policy. You will not be allowed to redo a plagiarized paper. You must use proper citations (Turabian, MLA, Chicago, or APA) to avoid plagiarism. If you paraphrase ideas, you must insert a footnote or endnote and attribute it to the proper source. Every quote of referenced materials must be properly cited as well.
