Abstract

This is a research paper that seeks to discuss the aspects of the importance and significance of both the research and the evidence based practice within the nursing profession and tries to give the similarities and the differences between the two important aspects in the hospital setting. The aspect of evidence based practice in the nursing field traces it roots to the Magnet recognition Program (MRP) by the ANCC. This program requires the hospitals to ensure that they have the evidence based practice that is strongly embedded in the main culture and practices in the organization.
